Among other things, Manipur is famous for being the land where the sport Polo was first played as well as the land where the Indian flag was first unfurled. Manipur's remarkable history and exquisite culture, its pristine natural beauty and diverse ethnicity tempt you to come back again and again. It is the birthplace of Polo.
