| Day 1 : Jokai Botanical Garden- Jagganath Mandir-Khanikar Park | ||
| On arrival at Airport/Railway Station you will be received by our representative and hotel would follow. After due rest we visit the Jokai Botanical Garden a unique collection different types of trees and herbal plants. Then we will visit the Jagganath Mandir and Khanikar Park both adjacent to each other. | ||
| Day 2 : Digboi-Dibru Saikhowa Wildlife Sanctury | ||
| After breakfast we proceed toward Digboi the Oil refinery in India. There we visit the Oil Refinery .Golf Course of Digboi is another place of interest as it is probably one of the oldest of its kind in India. After lunch we visit the War cemetery and then return back to Tinsukia. Here we check in a Hotel and then you can visit the commercial hub of Upper Assam. | ||
| Day 3 : Dibru Saikhowa National Park | ||
| After breakfast we proceed to have the experience of visiting the National Park. If the time of your visit is winter then we would board a house boat on the mighty Brahmaputra and enjoy the ambience of nature at its best. Lucky ones can also get a glimpse of the famous river dolphins. Ride in a small boat is also in the cards to visit deep inside the forest bosom. Stay for the night at Eco Camp or a resort. | ||
| Day 4 : Sivasagar | ||
| After breakfast we proceed towards Sivasagar via Dibrugarh. Sivasagar depicts the historical and cultural heritage of Ahom dynasty. We can visit all the grandeur of the Ahom dyanasty which was one of the most powerful dynasty of ancient India. To name a few –Sivadol,Talatal Ghar,Rang Ghar,Devi Dol,Aadshkti Mata Gaurisagar Tank,Joy Dol,Joysagar Templeto name a few. We stay for the night at one of the best holtels in Sivasagar or Homestays as per preference. | ||
| Day 5 : Jorhat | ||
| After breakfast we proceed for Jorhat which is 2 hours journey from Sivasagar. Some of the attractions in Jorhat are – Gymkhana Club, Tocklai Tea Research Centre,Sukhapha Samannya Khestra, Bangalphukari, Cinnamora Tea Estate, Lachit Barphukan’s Maidam and Thengal Bhavan. Another attraction and famous picnic spot we can visit is the Kakochang waterfalls which is 20 Km from Jorhat Town. For the night we put up at a Hotel for the night. | ||
| Day 6 : Majuli | ||
| After breakfast we proceed to Nimati Ghat for Majuli Island. Majuli Island is at a distance of 20 kms from Jorhat on the mighty Brahmaputra River. The scenic place has a rich cultural and religious association. The first neo-Vaishnavite monastery was established here by Sankardeva, a saint belonging to the 15th century. Walk down to roads of the island not just to get to know the routine of the people but also to enjoy their warmth and hospitality. If you chance here during the right season, you may be able to spot some of the rare endangered species like whistling teal. Some of the most important attractions here include Vaishava Satra and Geramur Satra. Weapons used by ancient people are seen in Geramur Satra. Migratory birds from various parts of the world delight bird watchers. Staying the night at one of the cottages will be cherished for the rest of life. | ||
| Day 7 : To Dibrugarh and end of Tour | ||
| After breakfast we proceed to the Ghat and after reaching Jorhat we move back to Dibrugarh which brings us to the end of our tour. | ||
